Monofilament mesh is a woven material where each thread is a single filament and the openings are square. NMO bags have excellent strength and are considered to be cleanable. Filter efficiency is 90% or more.
Seadon supplies three types for nylon monofilament mesh filter bag. NMO series is a standard nylon mesh filter bag which is applied to industry filtration for removing particle impurities. NPI series is designed for paint & ink filtration, unique manufacturing technology to capture free silicon and grease. NFP series is made of FDA compliant nylon 66, applied to food and pharmacy. Polypropylene monofilament mesh (PMO) & polyester multifilament mesh (PEM) filter bags are still available.
